What are the risks if you conceive and have lupus?
Lupus, an auto-immune disease that can be quite unpredictable, is not known to be affected by pregnancy or to affect pregnancy per se. It should also have no effects on conception. Of course, serious illness with lupus, such as respiratory, cardiac, or problems with high blood pressure, can threaten the pregnancy."
