My period is 4 days late. How long should I wait to take a pregnancy test and should I be worried?
You can check a pregnancy test as soon as your period is late. It will be more likely to detect a pregnancy the further along you are pregnant. So, if your first test is negative and you still do not get your period, then you should repeat it the following week.
