| By Catherine Cram, M.S. Postpartum Fitness Expert Exercise Physiologist | ||
My husband and I are considering starting a family. While there is lots of information out there about what a women should do/think about (diet, health, etc.), I can't find much on increasing male fertility. Does alcohol consumption matter, what about diet, exercise, etc? Thank you."

Just as a woman who is considering pregnancy should focus on her diet and health, the husband or partner needs to make sure they're maintaining optimal health and fitness. It creates a positive environment for health when both partners encourage each other to follow a well rounded diet and take part in a fitness program.
Preparing for pregnancy together will help reinforce good health habits, and enable both partners to better meet the stresses of pregnancy and parenting.
