Expert Q&A

By Craig Sweet, M.D.
Reproductive Endocrinologist

I have not had my period in 2 months. I have taken several at home urine test which were negative. I even had a blood test to see if I was but still negative! What is going on?

It is quite likely that you did not ovulate. Women are entitled to do this about once per year, but if it becomes a pattern, it would be best to see your OB/GYN or your friendly neighborhood reproductive endocrinologist. Don't worry too much, but pay attention if the problem persists.
