Is Vitex-angus Castus similar in results to Clomid?
Clomid works to induce the ovary to release an egg or multiple eggs and is used for fertility assistance in women who are not ovulating. Vitex-angus Castus is an herbal product that has very little scientific data regarding its effects on the ovary or in ovulation induction. Anecdotally, it may work to enhance fertility, but there is no safety data regarding its use, and for that reason, I would advice against it if you are trying to get pregnant.
