Hello! I'm Jennifer and have begun the journey towards motherhood for a second time. I'm momma to Jason -- his birth-story is at http://www.birthstories.com/stories/198.htm and I'm currently a diary writer on the [Toddlers Today] site at http://toddlerstoday.com/diaries/jen/index.htm. It only took 2 cycles to conceive Jason, so I had imagined that this time around would be as straightforward.

Unfortunately, fate has had other plans and I had a miscarriage with the last cycle we tried. This was the second one I've had; the first was in February of '99, and I can honestly say that it's a club I would rather not have a membership in. I've been fortunate that I could take comfort in my son, but that brings bittersweet feelings as well, since I know that the joy I feel for having him in my life is something that I will never have for the babies I lost.

I feel like I've been a part of this community for a long time -- I was so happy when Kim became pregnant after her struggle with infertility, and I cried when Michele's IVF treatment didn't take. I've enjoyed the connections that this electronic world has allowed, and I hope that my contribution helps to expand it that much more.
