Jessica's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |

Well, here's my first pregnancy diary entry! Woohoo! I'm almost 8 weeks now and I've had my first ultraound. We saw the little heart beating away! I cried so much. See, I've never made it past 5 weeks,1 day until now. Certainly never seen the heartbeat. My doctor thinks that at my next appt (11 weeks) we should be able to HEAR the heartbeat. I won't be nervous if we can't, though, because I know in heavier women it can take longer to hear it. I've had a little bit of morning sickness, mostly nausea. And my breasts are still very sensitive. Not necessarily a BAD sensitive, just more sensitive than before. And they're firmer, too! I hope they stay that way. :) I still get nervous from time to time. Like I get these stretchy cramps or cramps from being (eew) constipated and it scares me a bit. What really got me going was the first time my husband felt safe enough to have sex again I spotted! Not much, though, and it went away. I dunno what caused it but I'm not too worried about it now.
I'm looking foward to being able to keep this diary so someday I can look back and remember all of this. I'll talk to you all next week!
-Jess
