Heidi's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

August 9, 2000

Sadly, but to no surprise, AF showed up on Monday. Of course it was like an hour after I wasted another HPT. Gggrrrr. Why do I do this every month? Good news is that the ladies at ClearPlan fertility monitors have taken pity on me and are going to send me a monitor! I can't wait to give it a try; I always found the OPKs somewhat confusing.

It makes me physically sick to think how long we have been TTC. I need a speedy resolution soon for my own sanity. The other day I was thinking that if I had been the wife of, say, Henry VIII, I would have been beheaded by now for not producing an heir. How warped is that??? Ha ha ha!

It looks like we are moving -- for sure this time. Michel got a great new job with American Airlines in Dallas. Looks like he will start the first week in September and I will come as soon as our house sells. I am very excited because given that all our friends and family are mostly in Canada, the free travel is a huge plus for us!!! Although the summers will be a little hot and humid for me, I am going to so love the winters. We are looking at the Arlington area so if anyone out there lives in that area please let me know how you like it.

This Friday we are having a diary writer get-together. Two other girls, Stef and Kimmberli live in the area and we are going to have lunch together on Friday. I can't wait; it should be fun. I know for sure that I need the support. I am just sad that now I get to meet these girls that live so close when I am going to be moving! Just my luck.

I am attaching this little joke I got the other day. I found it funny but my husband thought it was stupid. I guess I just identified more with it -- hee hee.

Talk to y'all next week!
Heidi

THE GIRLS' PRAYER
Our Holt
Which art in Renfrew
Hallowed be thy Laura Ashley
Thy Cartier watch
Thy Prada bag
In Harrods
As it is in Florence
Give us each day our Visa Gold
And forgive us our overdraft
As we forgive those who stop our
Mastercard
And lead us not into The Bay
And deliver us from Sears
For thine is the Sung, the Gucci and the
Versace
For Gaultier and Eternity
