Hi there!
Sorry it has been so long since I posted an entry. I guess I just didn't have much to say but now I guess I have built up enough things to chat about. Today is CD#20 and month #2 on Clomid.
The Clomid went fine this month and strangely I actually had much less of the hot flushes than last month for which I was grateful. I ovulated about the same time as last month, around CD16. We only have one more refill of Clomid and then we need to move on to other options. Tomorrow night we are going to the free information session given by the doctor at the fertility clinic.
Last week I had the great pleasure to have dinner with Stacey, a fellow diary writer, and two other fellow TTCers, Marsha and Michelle. We had so much fun! I couldn't believe that we spent over 3 hours at the restaurant. The waitress was not too impressed and seemed very happy when we finally left. It was so great to chat with people who truly know how you feel and it was so informative to learn all about the treatments they had undergone. They were such nice ladies and I hope we can get together very soon. I am keeping my fingers crossed extra tight for Stacey and her first IVF cycle coming up!
As part of my resolution to not put my life on hold because of TTC anymore I have been looking into getting my teaching certificate so I can teach here in Texas. If everything works out I may be able to get my certification to teach high school English in a year and that includes the student teaching. I figure that I don't know what the future holds so I may end up teaching for awhile before children come into my life and even if they do come into my life sooner then I will have the ability to teach if I choose when they are older and in school themselves.
OK, that's all for now. I will update you on our session with the RE next time!
Heidi
