Hi everyone!
Well, we are waiting for AF this weekend. I am pretty sure that this was not our month since I was pretty sick during O. Nothing more attractive than sniffling, hacking and coughing! I have decided to give TTC a new approach, I have decided to stop the fertility monitor, the EPO, Robitussin, temping etc. Those things are obviously not helping and they just take the fun out of it. I can't honestly say that I won't purposely try to DTD around when I think I O, I can't turn it off completely, but I do want to slow the TTC machine down a little bit for my sanity! Maybe after a couple of relaxing months Michel and I will discuss if we want to schedule a consultation with an RE. I have found a good RE in the area, he offers a free consultation and he tries to get the most out of insurance so I think that if we do go ahead in that direction we will see him.
Now, I know this is going to sound crazy after all this 'taking it easy' stuff but I bought a pair of leather maternity pants today!! Ha ha ha, they were on sale and a girl just can't resist a sale! They were originally $248 and they were on for $69.99. Well when I saw that my hesitation crumbled and I went for it. When will I be able to get cool leather maternity pants for 70 bucks??? So, I figure I will put them away and save them for a happy day in the future! Just because we are slowing down the TTC frenzy doesn't mean I am giving up on our dream! And boy will I look like a hot mama in those pants - ha ha ha!
I have been inspired by Corinne and want to give a quick review of a couple movies;
Snatch - pretty violent and brutal but SO funny if it is possible for those two things to go together! I though Brad Pitt was great in it. I was pleasantly surprised.
Cast Away - I guess I had heard too much about it because I was disappointed. The part on the island was interesting but when he came home (which should have been the most emotional and dramatic part of the movie) was kind of lame and underdeveloped I think.
That's all for today ladies!
Ciao, ciao,
Heidi
