Well, here we are again! On CD 32, 12DPO I tested and got a big fat POSITIVE!! We are so thrilled!! I am five weeks this week (six weeks by the time this posts).
I guess I was right about the Clomid -- one cycle did the trick -- again!! I knew it would work. Now it is just a matter of time to see if this pregnancy is going to stick. I have historically lost my PG in the eighth week so until then I won't be very comfortable. I am so nervous but trying not to be ... it is hard though. I have my first OB appointment on Nov. 30. I will be ending my sixth week then and I am hoping that they will do a little ultrasound to make sure that the egg has planted in my uterus. They did that for me with DD and you really couldn't see much but you could see a sac and that was good enough!! That will at least ease my fears a little bit. They usually don't like to see you until you are in your eighth week but they see me a little early because of taking Clomid and my history.
The unfortunate thing is that I have to see a new OB this time because my normal doctor has been out on medical LOA and they don't know when she will be returning. It is a drag but the woman I am switching to is great also!! She saw me when I was in the hospital after delivering DD and I loved her the minute she walked into the room!! There is just a great presence about her that is very warming.
I feel really good. I am sick right now though so that makes me feel terrible. The only PG symptom that I have is being really tired and sore breasts .I was sick a couple mornings last week too. I didn't get any morning sickness with my DD so I am hoping that I can stay clear of it with this one too!!
Well, we are going to my parents’ house in Tulsa for Thanksgiving. We leave today and come back on the 25th. My parents don't know that we are expecting yet. I got DD a T-shirt that says BIG SISTER on it. She will wear it on the first morning we are there. That is how they are going to find out!! I can't wait to see the expression on their faces!
I want to thank you all for all of your support and encouragement you have provided to me over the last several months. I hope to see you all on the “DUE IN” boards VERY SOON!! I am sad to have to leave you all but happy at the same time.
I hope you all have/had a great Thanksgiving with your families. Good luck to you all and here is some PG dust*********************for you all -- use it up!!
Best regards,
Gerri K
