Jerri's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

September 19, 2000

Hello and ... hello. I am so silly. I can't believe the amount of stress that TTC was putting on my mind. I haven't counted or calculated anything in several days. Sure makes me happy. Roddy, on the other hand, seems to thrive on the excitement of it all. He has been so grouchy since AF arrived on Saturday. I mean he has full-blown PMS. Hopefully, the doctor will have some good news for him on Thursday. They called today and put his appointment off until then. I honestly think he wants this as bad or worse than I do and just doesn't want to admit nor does he know how to deal with it.

I haven't had an opportunity to read a diary entry where the husband was undergoing such treatment. I have read a couple about the varicose vein surgery but I think ours is much more serious than even that. So, for that very reason, I am going to continue to write my diary entries. Hopefully, all of this will have a very happy ending and someone out there can gain some hope from it all. I would love to read about what to expect but someone has to set a precedent -- I guess it might as well be me. I sure want our little snuckems to read all this when he/she gets here. We have been through a lot and looks like we are just beginning to embark on another aspect of this. But, we will conquer all, I just know it.

As for outside of TTC, hmmmm ... we bought DH a "scat-about" car last weekend so he would have a "work" car. It looks kind of rough but it runs good. He loves it. I went to the dentist today and had a root canal done. I need another one and wanted them both done at once. Sure glad they talked me out of that. Rodman has an appointment next month to have some teeth fixed and get a plate for his front teeth. We have our eyes peeled for a house too. These are the kind of things we are going to do to keep ourselves busy while we work on getting the plumbing repaired for Rodman.

I know all of you out there need another cheerleader as you go on your missions, so if you need a pep talk, gimme a yell, anytime.

Keep positive thoughts flowing!!!
