Jerri's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |
August 17, 2001
Hi, well finally a new entry for me. I must say that I am not looking forward to telling you that my big work-out plan has crashed like a cold hard piece of bad luck. I worked out the one day, felt so good about myself, and bam got sick the next day with bad sinus' infection and UTI. Then, not long after that was over, I met someone. Yep, not just anyone but SOMEONE. I have met lots of someone's but this ONE is special! We had lunch on Monday of last week, the 6th, and then again on Tuesday night we make plans to watch a Braves game, eat pizza and just relax. And, well, we haven't parted except for work since then. He had to travel to Florida on Monday for work. So, I took off work and went with him. We came back on Wednesday and still, the work hours are the only time we have been apart. We are going to my mom's tomorrow for him to meet her. I know these diaries are about TTC, not dating, romancing and all that junk, but I have been writing here for over a year, and finding a mate, AGAIN, is top priority for me in the TTC plan so I am going to go ahead and start with this information. Lay a good foundation you know! I am amazed each and every day that someone can treat me like this man has treated me, well, other than my own Mother of course! He has been an absolute doll, caring, understanding, concerned, just amazes me. We are very much alike in a lot of ways and he is a computer-nut, just like me. One night we laughed because we were both trying to surf on my computer. We had two browsers open, one for me, and one for him. We would look at my page while his loaded and vice-versa. He says, time for dual monitors! Anyway, I never imagined that I was missing so much by not allowing or insisting that Rodman (and other men for that matter) treat me with the love and respect that this man (hey, how about a name for him? Wayne) has shown me. So, does he want children? Yes, wants a loving mate first and all that needs to be accomplished from that, but then again, who doesn't. He knows too that I have no intentions of waiting too terribly long to have children. He is 31 so I suppose to him, my whopping 32 (33 in a couple of weeks, yikes) years isn't a big deal. And, I guess it really isn't a big deal, just something I know I am ready for in my life. Maybe 6 months down the road, and then again, maybe two months away. In the meantime, I am on BCP trying to regulate my crazy cycle and stave off any more chance for endometrosis to grow. Should drastically improve my chances when I get to the point where it is TIME!
Ok, I have rambled on and on for quite long enough. There doesn't seem to be too many folks lurking around here anymore but hopefully I have sparked enough interest in my few close chatterboxes to receive some "comments"! OH, boy, I can't wait, opened myself up for that one uh?
Thanks for reading!
