Jerri's Diary Entries

August 8, 2000

Hello everyone,
So, I sit and I wait. Patience is truly the virtue that I am missing (along with some others, I am sure, but that one just sticks out in my mind). I had the IUI on July 31. It is only Aug. 8 and I am ready to test already. My doctor said not to test until Aug. 14 but I am certain I can't wait that long. I will do my very best to wait until Thursday of this week. That may be pushing it but I am certainly going to try.

Rodman acts as if nothing has even happened. He cares, I know, but tries not to let on. I think he is afraid of the disappointment. I think that if this one doesn't work he will try once more just because (this is gross, so reader beware), he had already been really hot when he had to come down off the building and give me the sample and I think that the heat affected the quality of his sample. I mean, he didn't have a good sample in December but not as bad as this one. He originally said that once was all but now that he thinks he is the culprit, he has decided maybe we should give it another shot. Just like a man.

The only other thing going on in our life is that we just bought season tickets to the Atlanta Falcons football games. He is more hysterical about that right now than he is the prospect of a HPT date coming up. Oh well, we will see. We are also talking about looking for a house, once again. We go through this about every three months. I look and look and he goes to one open house and decides we need to wait a few more months. Whew!!!

I am going to keep it short. Take care, hope everyone (including me) gets all positives!!!!

P.S. No one every chats with me on my boards anymore. What's up, did you guys quit loving me? LOL
