Jerri's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

July 4, 2000

Hello again. Well, surgery was supposedly a success. Ask me again in a couple of months and I will tell you how much of a success it was (if I am PG or not). Rodman behaved, obviously, or he hasn't had the nerve to tell me anything he messed up. The doctor said that she zapped the endo and didn't see any reason why we shouldn't get PG now. Of course, I haven't been for my post-op appointment yet, so I don't really know what all she had to do. I will know soon, though, because I am going to need something to help me O.

I am getting ready to start temping again (arrrgh), and checking CM and CP (eek). We can't BD for two weeks, or at least until my post-op. I don't know how long DH will last. He is already making me kind of crazy. I thought that this period of abstinence would be a good time for him to have another SA done. He wasn't amused and doesn't think this is the time. He says it is embarrassing. I fail to see what is so embarrassing about it. He gives the sample and I (alone) take it to the lab. No one ever even lays an eye on him. Go figure.

As for the holiday, we have done nothing since my surgery. Today is the first day that I have ventured out into the hot, nasty weather of Atlanta and I was afraid to over-do it. So, this grand Fourth of July has been spent watching numerous movies. That is not exactly how I envisioned it as a child but ... oh well, anything to improve my chances with TTC.

Hopefully, all is well for you and hopefully, you had a more memorable Fourth than we did. Naturally, if we get PG right away, it will be a very memorable one for us. Thanks for letting me share with you. Good luck and +++ thoughts for all.
