Jerri's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |
June 28, 2000
This has probably been the most uneventful week ever. I am merely working and thinking about my surgery. And, I do mean, thinking about it a lot. Since I have done nothing but talk about it for weeks, I suppose you already knew it was taking precedence over everything right now.
So, really quick, here is the plan. I am going to work until Thursday, go to the chiropractor, and get a massage. Then, eat pizza or something really good. Of course, after midnight I can’t have anything. Then, we are to be at the hospital by 5:30. Which, knowing Rodman, will mean we will have to get up by 4:30. We only live about five miles from the hospital, but he is so slow moving in the mornings. There’s coffee and walking around looking at the carpet, and coffee, and more studying the walls, and coffee and then he is ready to move on to getting dressed. Me, I get up, brush, wash, get dressed and, boom, I am ready to go. Whew, how did I get off on that. Anyway, we are supposed to be at hospital by 5:30 and surgery is at 7:30. It shouldn’t take a long time, but any time that Rodman is alone in that waiting room is too long. I am certain he will investigate the entire place and maybe take something apart just so he can put it back together.
After, my surgery, I will come home to recuperate. I don’t have to go back to work until Wednesday, the fifth, so I will have plenty of time to start moving better. Hopefully, I will have an appointment real soon to get some answers and see what to do next.
OK, that is all I know to even talk about right now, so I am going to spare you. Keep me in your thoughts and prayers and as soon as I can get on the computer I will give you an update. If Rodman has his way, I won’t ever be able to type again. He hates it when I am on this "machine." OK, positive thoughts to everyone and maybe this is my last step to the big baby boom. Thanks for letting me share with you.
