Jerri's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

March 20, 2001

Well, my life is more than your average fire drill!!!!!!!! I don’t know if this entry will make any sense what-so-ever but I am going to try my hardest to keep it simple. My mind is running fast fast fast so forgive me if I get ahead of myself.

On, Saturday, DH got a call requesting him to come interview for a construction superintendent’s job in Birmingham, Alabama. That is about an hour from my family. So, I took off work on Monday and off we went. We found out at 8 AM this morning that he got the job and that he needs to be there to start work on Thursday. So, with that said, we had several options. He could go there, I could stay here and tie up loose ends and then I could go there....well, being so spontaneous, that option went right in one of my ears and right out the other. I was, however, going to try it for a couple of weeks. I went to work this morning and things were very difficult there, so at lunch, my DH said, just forget it, go with me when I go tomorrow. So, I said ok and I didn’t give him time to retract that thought. I am doing laundry and getting ready to leave. So, to answer a few questions, I am using a question/answer format........

What to do about:

1. the house: well it is rented and we will lose our deposit but we have come to grips with that and we are just going to move forward

2. A new place to live: we are going to an efficiency for now, I can hunt a house once we are there

3. Our furniture and other belongings: DH will probably be working a lot so I am going to try to get a cousin to come back to Atlanta with me and help me pack and load the stuff. We are going to put it in storage at my mom’s house only because she has some room in a garage and it is free.

4. A job for me: I have been busy as a bee sending out resume’s via email and will go looking as soon as the little moving details are taken care of.

5. IUI and TTC: well, that is the one that isn’t quite resolved.....I have to come back to Atlanta anyway so we will probably go ahead with the IUI here one time and then see what happens after that. Also, AF didn’t find me until yesterday so I am just cd #2 and won’t start my mega clomid until tomorrow night which should in turn, push my O date to the end of next week. That is something I will have to keep you updated on as we go!!!

If you have any other questions, the answer is probably that I do not know, lol!! Honestly, we are living by the seat of our pants right now and hopefully things will work out for the best. Please say your prayers for me everyday, maybe even a couple of times a day!!!!!! Thanks for talking to me on my board and I look forward to hearing more!!
