Jerri's Diary Entries

February 22, 2002

Hi! Thanks so much for all the good wishes from everyone! We have been busy busy busy! Let me start where I left off last time.

We returned home and the excitement couldn't be pushed to the side. I thought Wayne would burst before he could tell our Mom's that we are pg! He told my Mom on the phone and I told his! They were just as excited as we are. My little cousin didn't believe a word of it. All she would say is "NUH UH, she ain't having a baby, I don't believe it"! Of course at age 6, when she saw me, and I didn't "look" PG to her, she really didn't believe it. We had to explain that she would be in the 2nd grade before the baby got here but that I was indeed having a baby!

Then, we turned our attention to getting ready to move. I spend 2 weeks packing and the such to get us ready to haul this big travel home to Florida.

We got moved and have not had internet for a week. That is about to drive me insane. We are in a small town and I mean extremely small town in Florida so getting a phone and stuff is going to take a couple of weeks or longer. For now, during the day, I am running a barage of phone lines across the campground so I can log on during the day while everyone is at work.

I have my FIRST doctor's appointment on March 1st. I have only been for pg confirmation so far so I am excited about this appt. It is with the prenatal counselor/nurse for a history and stuff and then she will make my REAL doctor's appt. I am going to drive to Gainesville which is about an hour away to go to the doctor! I hope that doesn't come back to haunt me but I just feel better in big hospitals with lots of choices and trust me, there is absolutely nothing in these woods where we are living now!

Ok, that seems to be all that is happening for now. I have most everything unpacked and we have started tearing the office apart to make a baby room. I know it seems kind of early to be working on baby's room but this was an office and there is tons of work to do. We have the office furniture out, then the carpet has to come up, then carpet back down, walls to wallpaper and border to put up (nevermind carpet and wallpaper and border to find and buy first)! We are also re-tiling the kitchen and living room so we have plenty plenty plenty of work to do!

Ok, for real, that is all for now!

Thanks for reading!
