Well, I haven't put up an entry in ages, TTC was a blast. Here is the scoop on how I got pg!!!!
First month (November, 2001), I got af on Nov. 21, 2001, then, that month I didn't O at all. I had 2 or 3 little spots at af time and was very disgusted.
December, 2001, I had that pretend AF, and I o'd but I had a cold, then I had some muscle spasm problems in my neck, then I had gastritis and TTC was not an easy thing to concentrate on.
January 8th, I had a good AF, and I do mean a super duper strong one. I o'd on cd 9 which was January 17th. I had basically decided that there was no way I could be pg. I was just depressed and gave up hope! We left home last Friday going to visit Wayne's mom for a couple of days and then to a job site in Florida for a week for him to work. Still temping and wondering if maybe but....not getting my hopes up. We also embarked on a new business venture and I even lost count of what dpo it was. I did for some crazy reason pack a hpt and didn't pack in maxi-pads. Didn't do that consciously, just happened that way. But, anyway, on Tuesday morning, my temp hit an all time high of 98.6, and I knew that was a triphasic start! I sneaked to the bathroom and tested. That was 13 dpo and that line was there as soon as the urine hit it. I quietly said, "Wayne, can you come here for a second?" And, being his sweet self, he says sure and walks to the bathroom (in the hotel room so not a long walk). I pointed to the test and said, "Now, that is what a postive test looks like!" He grabbed me and squeezed and squeezed. He told his boss that day. We went that night and bought a set of pink booties and a set of blue, gonna mix and match and send the Grandmother's-to-be a mix-matched pair to announce this to them. That is that. I am pg, edd is Oct 12 and that is that!!!! Oh, and at 6 AM, I called my best bud Rhonda to announce it to her!! She was droggy and sleepy but was very excited for me.
I am so excited that sleep is nearly impossible. But the tiredness will catch up with me soon and it won't matter how tired I am......
Until next time, and I promise it won't be 3 months!!!
