Hello to all my fellow TTC’ers! I have finally been able to put some plans into action. I know that even the best laid plans sometimes go astray, however, for now, my plan of attack is taking shape. So, here we go, put your hands in the air and prepare for a great big roller coaster ride. We visited this amusement park last year about the same time so we are getting accustomed to riding the most exciting and suspense filling rides that any amusement park in the world has to offer. We have conquered the Clomid Monster, we have been aboard the Am-I-PG Machine and the Endometriosis-Bomber. Then, in late summer, we climbed on the IUI-Train. The suspense of each was different but definitely a thriller. The excitement of testing a new theme park ride every month or so has worn off. We are ready for the big ride–Parenthood. I guess that ride will have to wait just a while longer but hopefully we have found a map to take us to that Amusement Park of Life.
For now, the journey to parenthood looks like this. First we get into our trusty vehicle of transportation called “Official Insurance Coverage” on February 6th. DH’s door opens first, as he will do the driving this time, not me. Our entire trip hinges on his next S/A. So, on February 6th, his PCP will get in the passenger’s seat and order the S/A. We hope to stop at a local hotel on our way to this grand theme park, not for DTD though, we will be abstaining so that we can get on our way the following morning and set about getting his sample for the S/A. Then, the journey to find the Parenthood Park will take a backseat to the regular grind of working and waiting. I am not sure how long the trip is between the two cities of “Getting the S/A Sample” and “Getting the S/A Results” but once we get to the city of results and reckoning, we will know what sights we want to pursue on the 16th when we get to “Gyn-Town”. Dr. F is what we call the lady that lives in Gyn-Town and she has had lots of answers for us thus far, and we expect no less this time around. So, we are off on this path, the route is fairly uncertain but we know the greatest roller coaster of all awaits us. The “Thrill of Parenthood”. I know that we will first have to ride the same ol’ Clomid Monster, Am-I-PG Machine and probably the IUI Train before we can safely arrive at our destination but we are prepared for that. This time around, maybe our stomach’s won’t get so upset and the screaming won’t be quite as loud as before. But, I can tell you this, I am definitely not holding on. My hands are in the air waving like crazy, hoping the bigger the thrill, the BIGGER THE THRILL!
I hope to meet you all at Parenthood-Park really soon. In the meantime, talk to me on my board. It seems no one every visits there anymore. You don’t need a the vehicle of insurance to visit my board and talk and there isn’t normally too much excitement there so you won’t need to get a map before you go. Just bring your hands, don’t plan on waving them in the air because my talk to me board is more like a merry-go-round than any of the rides I have mentioned. See you there!!!
Love,
Jerri Ann
