C # ?. Well, 18 months but lots more cycles have
passed than 18 but only five chances to get PG because
of the anovulatory
cycles I have. Then, throw in DH's infertility issues,
and forget it. CD #3, so obviously this cycle was a
bust -- the only cycle to O on my own in the entire 18
months. I was encouraged because cycle made it 24
days. That in itself is pretty amazing. So, now that I
have quit whining, I'll move on.
DH has promised to turn over a new leaf and get himself healthy enough to produce some “healthy and viable” swimmers. According to the urologist, three months is the minimum that we need to wait before redoing his semen analysis. I am going to try to talk my doctor into using something stronger than BCP to keep the endometriosis from growing because those darn BCP are such a headache, literally. Then again, if I am O'ing on my own, we might keep trying au naturel until he has been clean and sober for six months and we can repeat the SA. That is where I stand right now.
We went back to church this past Sunday for the first
time in months and rededicated our lives to living for
Christ. Our home even seemed different on Monday as we
went about our daily activities in a new light. If DH
is to be clean and sober, God is the only way! I know
that, he knows that and we are going to get through
this. We also cleaned our house really good and
rearranged some furniture so that our
“office/exercise” room is useful instead of a junk
room. I get one little corner for my computer and
files and stuff and he gets the rest for a weight
bench and television. He says that his training
regimen begins today!! That would be the one that he
has been off for more than a year now -- he
affectionately refers to those months as the
“off-season”! Yea right!!! Anyway, we are going to
make some lifestyle changes and see if we can make
positive things happen. I feel very good about our
return to church where we belong and our
“resolutions,” if you will, for the new year.
I am including a picture of our new home and other
neat photos from our Christmas visit from Santa and
relatives. Of course you recognize the one of our
house. Then there is the one of me and DH posing by
our tree and finally my little cousin who came to
visit. I have entitled the picture of my cousin “whole
ham/part ham”! She is the whole ham, and the part ham
is the one in the sink that we baked for Christmas
dinner!!! LOL!!!
So, I will cut this entry off with well wishes for the new year and lots of love!!!
