Well, all went well telling DH about this wonderful
new PG'cy. I bought a little pair of booties (that
can be used!) and I wrapped them up with the +HPT for
an additional birthday present. It was the smaller
present of the two that I gave him, so of course he
opened it first! He looked at them and said, "I won't
fit into those." I then told him that I was PG again
and that I would give him something to fit into them
in May! He called me cheeky, for hiding the fact that
I had gone and bought a HPT and done it without him
knowing! I thought that was quite funny! Well, then
he went on to open the second present. He is like a
big kid! Got to have pressies! Anyway, I know he was
happy because I had made a doctors appointment for
that morning and he came with me, so that was good.
Now, the doctors appointment. Everything is OK at the moment. I got a referral to my OB/GYN so I made an appointment to see him next Friday (17th). That was the earliest that I could get in. The doctor also said that I will have an ultrasound at about six or seven weeks. I will be about six weeks when I go and see my OB/GYN so with any luck they will schedule me for an ultrasound pretty quickly. I am still a bit nervous about this but I know that I can't change the outcome so I will just try to stay positive and not do anything silly!
I also told my Mum yesterday and, of course, she is very happy. She says that now she can get all the baby stuff out again. We are not going to tell everyone this time until we know that things are OK. I don't think I could go through all the heartache of having to explain to people that something has gone wrong. So for now it is only DH, my Mum, my Nana and Sharon (she reads this so she knows!) and of course me! Oh, one more, my next door neighbour also knows because I play basketball with her so I had to tell her so she knew why I was being stand-offish while we were playing last night. I still haven't decided if I will stop playing or play for a couple more months. I think I will see what the OB/GYN says. My regular doctor said that there shouldn't be any problem as long as I don't do anything stupid. So I will just avoid any bumps!
Well that is all for now so I am sending all of my positive vibes to you!!
