TTC#1, C#7, CD#17
Hi everyone! The waiting begins . I O'd two days ago, as I expected, so now begins that monthly test of patience. DH and I moved last weekend, in the midst of our BD'ing fest. DH was so good about it, though. We were both so tired, but he insisted we keep on schedule (men!). So I think we did everything right this month, time will tell. I am very hopeful this time around.
Not much new this week besides moving and TTC. Since moving, I am much less stressed, so that's a good thing. I am waiting for a good friend of mine in Seattle to have her baby, which should be any day now. I'm very excited for her. Seems like so many people can get pregnant so easily. Why not me? As I said in my last entry, if we don't get PG this month, I am going to make an appointment with my OB/GYN.
On another note, today I am having a physical exam by my general doctor, an appointment I had to wait three months for. I didn't make it for any other reason besides the fact that I am 35 years old and haven't had a physical since high school. A friend of mine developed adult leukemia a few years ago and died suddenly. Since then, I have been much more aware of my mortality and would just like to make sure everything is OK. All my past years of suntanning scare me and we have a high incidence of skin cancer here in Arizona. Not to mention the fact I would feel more comfortable about bringing a child in to this world knowing I am healthy and will be around to be a part of that child's life.
DH and I are going to Florida next week so I will not have a diary entry for next time. DH qualified in a big golf tournament and will be playing in the finals in Florida, so off we go. I have never been to Florida so it will all be new to me. I won't have access to send in an entry, so I'll see you all the following week. By then, I will know if I'm PG or not so it will be a much more informative entry by then anyway.
Thanks to everyone for all the advice; I am trying to put it all to good use. Good luck and ++++ to everyone this week.
Jenny W.
