Hi everyone. First I want to extend a thank you to
everyone for the welcome to the group. It has been a
great experience so far. I have received wonderful
advice from all of you, and I am learning so much.
Thank you!
O is right around the corner, should be here in a few days. No CM yet, but I usually do have some so I think it's just a matter of time. I have a few OPK tests left over from last month that I plan to use in a few days to confirm O is happening. I'm pretty sure I O every month, but the OPK gives me some peace of mind and the temp charting confirms it for me.
Some of the other writers mention things about BD'ing that I'm not familiar with, so if anyone can help me out in this area, I would greatly appreciate it. For instance, is it better to BD every day around O, or every other day? And is it correct that a few days before O are better than the day or two following? And what about the pelvic tilts? How long do you do this for? Someone told me to put my feet up on a wall! Help! I guess I don't know much about the details! But anything I can do to increase my chances of getting PG I'm willing to try!
I have had some advice on my message board about seeing an RE. I must admit this has been in the back of mind. Most of the messages refer to the fact that I am 35 years old and on my seventh month of TTC. With each unsuccessful month, I worry that I may be wasting precious time. I talked to my DH about it and we have decided that if this month is not successful, I will make an appointment with my OB/GYN. I really like my doctor -- hopefully he can get us started on some testing or refer us to a good RE. Still, I'm hoping this is our lucky month and I won't have to worry about that. I keep telling myself the longer we TTC, the better my odds. Of course, that's not always the case but my philosophy so far.
DH and I spent a few days at the MGM in Las Vegas and had a great time. I played a slot machine for about one minute and won some money and then had some luck at the blackjack tables, so a successful trip in my book. I had to come back a few days before DH did for some financial meetings, so I am missing him right now. Probably a good way to head in to the BD'fest this weekend.
Our official move to our new house is this Saturday, Sept. 16, so we will be busy with that and our TTC situation this weekend. I really have high hopes for this month, keep your fingers crossed for me.
+++ and best of luck to everyone this month!
