Jenny W's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

August 30, 2000

Hello everyone! I am currently TTC#1, CD#25, C6. I am so excited to be here and to be writing the second entry in my diary. Unfortunately, there is not much news on the TTC front. AF should arrive in three days. I'm feeling anxious over it; I never like this waiting part. I have no signs of AF or PG, but I really never do until the day of. I don't know if there would be any signs of PG this early anyway. For some reason, in the last few days I have started thinking this will not be our lucky month. I'm not sure why I have been thinking this -- intuition, maybe. I checked back, my temperature the last two days has been the highest it has ever been. This is my strongest and only sign that I might be PG. My temperature stays high until the day before or of AF, so I can't get overly optimistic at this point.

I have spent some time getting up to date on everyone's entries. I really look forward to Tuesday's to hear everyone's news. It is such a great feeling to share this with others. I used to think the feelings I had were mine alone. Now I know I'm not alone. I haven't talked to my friends or family about these things so by writing this diary, it's a great way for me to share what is going on with me in the TTC journey and learn from everyone else at the same time.

In other news: We bought our new house last week. We spent all weekend ripping out carpet making way for new tile. My mom loves working in the yard and is teaching me how to take care of one. DH and I took four loads to the dumps of trimmings! I've at least got it under control now, except for the grass, which is completely overgrown. DH is buying a lawnmower today, thank goodness. For the time being, he will be the caretaker of the lawn. Although he is not on the golf course maintenance crew, he does work closely with them so he knows a little more about grass than I do. We both have cuts and scratches from all our work. DH is worried about a blister on his thumb he got pulling up the carpet. I guess he thinks it will affect his golf swing or something! Boy, if I only had his worries!

My birthday came and went without much ado, but it was a nice celebration with friends and family.

A comment on Marianne's entry this week -- add another Jennifer to the list! There are a lot of us, aren't there. Funny though, I didn't have any other Jennifers in school with me. Where did we all come from? I mostly go by Jenny or Jen. I think I am the only Jenny out of us writers right now, so hopefully I don't make it much more confusing.

Everyone have a great and safe Labor Day weekend. And +++ to everyone!

See you next week!
