Hi. For my first entry I will get you up to date on where I am and what I have done so far in TTC. I am currently on CD#17, 2 DPO (I think), sixth month. Kind of amazing that I didn't know much about my cycle and how all this works until now. I started charting the second month of TTC and just recently found the Lifecycle program you can download for free from their Web site. You enter your cycle and charting information into it and then it helps to determine your most fertile days. It is a fun little program to use. I am happy to have found out about it in the message boards of preconception.com.

This is the first month I bought an OPK. O appeared when I expected, confirming my thoughts that I have very regular cycles and seem to O every month on the 15-16th day. For this I am grateful. It doesn't make me feel any better every month with the arrival of AF, though. So, the waiting begins. I always get so anxious during this time. This month our timing seems to be good and our hopes are high for ++ this month. I haven't gotten to the point of buying PTs often -- in fact I haven't bought any. But I am beginning to understand how the others get addicted to them. Hope prevails, I guess.

So other than waiting for the next two weeks, we have other exciting things going on. We are buying a new house this week. All part of the plan for our future family that we don't have yet. We currently live in an adorable townhouse that I hate to leave, but it is small. We decided to move on to something bigger before having our children so that we wouldn't be too cramped. We bought a three- bedroom house that we hope to fill with children very soon. I'm excited to have a yard and more room. We are keeping our fingers crossed for the sale of our townhouse very soon, come October 1st we will be making double house payments. Don't want to do that for very long!
