TTC#1, C#3, CD12

Hi,
Laura's family by tree I hope you're all enjoying the upcoming holiday season. I know that it can be absolutely crazy, but I do love it. I am definitely a Christmas holiday kind of person! Over the weekend, we put up and decorated our tree. I love putting up the tree more than anything else during the holidays. My mom always gave my sister and me an ornament each year, and when we moved out, we got to take them with us. Every year, I just love putting up each of my ornaments, because each one reminds me of something special. Chris just thinks I'm goofy, but I get all excited to trim the tree. So, we did that Friday night while watching "A Charlie Brown Christmas." I've posted a picture we had taken for our Christmas cards, with Ocho, in front of our tree. We figured it was cheesey, but oh well!

We had one of those let's-appreciate-not-having-kids-just-yet moments on Friday. Before we went to get our tree, we went to dinner with my sister, nephew (almost 4) and niece (almost 2). I love them dearly, and they are the sweetest children in the world, 95 percent of the time. But they are also both toddlers, and they were in rare form Friday night! First off, they had just come from a Christmas party at my sister's work, where they'd eaten candy and cookies. Secondly, my BIL was at a class, so they were really trying to push my sister's buttons. By the time we went to dinner, they were so wired I thought they were going to just lift off into orbit! So, needless to say, they were a little rowdy during dinner. When we left, DH and I were exhausted just from watching them! We said that while we're excited to have children, we should appreciate this time that we have left with just us. Years from now, I'll no doubt look back fondly on the days when we could go out to eat without chasing little people around the table!

On the TTC front, there's not much going on. I've got another two weeks until we start BD fest and three weeks until O. We have made some changes this month, though. I am again doing the vitamins and Robitussin thing, but also drinking green tea and taking EPO (it's gotten such good press around here, I figure I should try). Chris is also taking vitamins, and started wearing boxers this month, instead of the "tightie whities." OK, here I am broadcasting my hubby's underwear preference over the Internet -- have I completely fallen into the too-much-info zone? I might as well tell you, and it's kind of funny (though I feel horrible for thinking it), but he got a little "chafed," shall we say, last week from the boxers. As bad as I felt for him, we both had a laugh over it. It's just not what you expect to happen. We have no reason to believe there's a problem with either of us, but anything we can do to help our chances has to be good, right?

Congrats, as always, to all the new PGs out there! Here's hoping for a virtual pregnancy epidemic on the boards -- keep that dust flyin'. May it rip through the boards until no woman is left! :)

Have a great week, everyone.

Take care,
Laura
