November 22, 2001 - Happy Thanksgiving!
I just wanted to do a *quick* update. I went in early for my ultrasound yesterday (wasn't supposed to go til tomorrow), after feeling a pinching in my ovary area. I had three good follicles on my left side that were 17, 14, and 14mm yesterday. Today I went back in and they are at 19, 18 and 16. So, tomorrow is the BIG day - glad I went in earlier than planned! Actually, there will be two big days, tomorrow and Saturday. Rather than getting my injection at the office this morning, the nurse felt it would be better for me to get it tonight since we are haivng two IUIs done. That way they will be done and 12 and 36 hours after the hcg shot and we have a better chance of getting the timing right. So, I have a "date" tonight with a needle and one of my nurse friends!
So, those are our exciting weekend plans. Although I was hoping to be out at all the early bird sales tomorrow, I am now planning on laying low, watching some movies, and just relaxing. Gotta give those guys all the chances they can get to do their fertilizing thing!
