Laura K's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

November 14, 2000

C#2, CD34, ?DPO

Hi all,
Well, I am STILL waiting for AF to show, and since my last entry I'm not even sure what's going on. After looking back over my chart, it appears that I may not have O'd when I originally thought. My temps did go up for a week, but were at a plateau, and then dropped again. To top things off, I had good CM over the weekend and did an OPK stick, and got a + for O'ing. So, I might have O'd yesterday (Monday), we shall see. We BD'd Sunday and Monday just in case, but I'm not sure if I figured things out soon enough. My chart this month is really a lot different from last. It looks like a yo-yo, going up and down, over the coverline and back below. Even today, after I may have O'd, my temps weren't really high, just a bit over the coverline. I have my annual appointment in the beginning of December, and I plan on showing them to my gynecologist when I go in.

Laura's new puppy. We do, however, have a new addition to our family! DH and I adopted a puppy on Sunday. I've included a picture. We were planning on getting a dog over the summer, but an animal rescue group was at a local pet store and I couldn't resist! Ocho (named for two black spots on her back that look like an eight) is 19 weeks old. She's part boxer, and it looks like a little terrier. If anyone can tell what else she is, I'd love to know! She is SUCH a sweet thing! Very cuddly, already housebroken, and playful, but not rough. We are really enjoying having her around the house! She is well-tempered and great with my niece and nephew, so she'll be nice when we have children.

Other than that, just a normal week here in Michigan. We went from 60-degree weather to 40-degree weather in a matter of days! I keep reminding myself that, "I like winter ... I like winter ...!"

Congrats to Jenn R. on your +HPT! I have to say that I've been following your entries and just had a hunch that this would be your month. +++++ thoughts to everyone else -- we'll all get there eventually, I just know it!

Take care,
Laura
