Happy autumn!

I just LOVE this time of year. Those of you living in those warmer climates really need to see fall in full color. The weather here has been absolutely gorgeous (60s to70s) and the leaves are in full color! This time of year always lifts my spirits. It's great just to be outside and smell the air and look at the beauty all around.

Today is my 26th birthday. I know that my introduction said I was already 26, which was because I figured by the time my diaries were up I would be 26. I could not have had a more PERFECT birthday. On Friday, we saw "Remember the Titans." It is an excellent movie that I would recommend to everyone. On Saturday (yesterday) we went away to a B&B on the west side of the state, along Lake Michigan. We seem to have established a tradition of going away for the weekend to celebrate my birthday. It's always the perfect time of year for a getaway -- the scenery is beautiful and we so desperately need a break from the stress of the school year starting. So, we went to a lovely little town and stayed at a wonderful B&B (if you live in Michigan or Chicago, I'll tell you all about it -- it's great). After we got there, we hiked and went out to a restaurant where you grill your own meat. Today we went shopping all over town and bought some things for us, as well as a few Christmas gifts. My hubby is the best. He is just so easygoing, not at all one of those guys who complains about those little shopping towns. It was just such a relaxing weekend! I ate and bought whatever I wanted, and with no guilt about doing either (very rare for me). DH and I had some quality cuddling and hot tub time (also very rare with our busy schedules lately), and we both came home feeling like we'd been gone much longer than just overnight.

On the TTC front, nothing much is happening, since it's still very early in my cycle. Thanks to Dawn's entries and board, I now know more about getting that CM going, so I'm going to try the Robitussin thing this month. Since I seem to O soooooo late, however, I've got a while to wait. I'll just keep temping and watching that chart!

I hope everyone is having a great week. +++++ thoughts to all!
