TTC#1, C#1
Hi girls!
Well, I am now on CD#41. Yes, you read it correctly!
Since going off the BCP in April, I've found that my
cycles are pretty messed up. I know that there are
many of you out there who can relate. The bad news is
that my cycles have been extremely long, but the good
news is that I actually O'd this month! This was my
first cycle of charting, and the later it got, the
more I was convinced that it wasn't going to happen.
However, on CD#33 the temps went right up and have
stayed up ever since. The other good news about this
is that we just so happened to BD on my peak day. It
was purely coincidental, since I thought I wasn't even
going to have anything happen at all. Of course, once
I noticed my temps rising, we BD'd like crazy! My
temps have stayed up, which is also good. We'll see
what happens. I have absolutely no symptoms and really
don't feel any different, so I'm not holding any high
hopes for this month.
We really weren't supposed to start trying until October, so it was only our first time out. I was just pretty excited to finally see my body doing what it was supposed to. Does anyone know how much having super long cycles affects your chance to conceive?
I hope everyone has had a good week and weekend. We have been very busy. DH and I both sort of wander around like zombies for the first month or so of school; it's just a lot to take in. After conferences this week, I will be able to relax. In fact, we are going to a B&B next weekend for my birthday. I can't wait! Our room is supposed to be very nice with a fireplace and hot tub. Also, the inn has hiking trails, and the fall colors should be beautiful. Michigan is just gorgeous in autumn. We also bought a new(er) car this past week. I've been calling it my "big girl car," since it's the first car that I feel like an actual adult driving! It'll be a great family car -- lots of room in the back for a car seat. With all sorts of room in our house and car for a baby, we're sure to get PG, right?!
I'm holding positive thoughts for you all. Have a wonderful week!
Laura
