TTC#1, C#10, CD#19, O day!

Hello All,

Just wanted to do an update on this cycle. I have definitely O'd - yahoo! Okay, well, definitely as far as I can tell. I go in for my progesterone check next week. But, yesterday I got a VERY positive opk, and then felt VERY uncomfortable with a lot of O pain, so I'm thinking I ovulated yesterday or today(?). I would check my temps, but my thermometer died on me, oh well. Needless to say, we have been making the most of this opportunity. With DH's good SA report and my body finally doing what it's supposed to do, I really think it's just a matter of time.

I did talk to my dr. today, she called to see how things were going, where I wanted to go from here, etc. She'd been out of town and just wanted to check on me - how nice is that?! So, we decided that if this month isn't the trick, I will do one more month of 150 mg Clomid, then move on to the RE. Part of me is really thinking that it shouldn't come to that, I'm just hoping I'm right on that one! It's good to have a plan, though. By that point, it will be over a year since we "officially" started TTC, with 5 months on Clomid, so it will be time to move on. And to think that if I'd stayed with my other doctor I'd only just be starting Clomid by the time I reached the one-year mark - sheesh, I am sure glad I switched!

School started today - ugh! This is my fifth year of teaching and I still can't get over how tired I am when school starts. I love teaching, but it's just crazy right now! I'm trying not to let the stress get to me, and right now I'd say I'm just more tired than stressed. It doesn't help that the house is a complete mess, which always makes me feel frazzled when I get home.

I mentioned a couple of entries ago that a girl I work with was newly pg. Well, I found out last week that she miscarried. I feel so bad for her, especially knowing that they tried a long time, that just kind of makes it more heartbreaking.

Over Labor Day weekend we are going down to Memphis for a wedding. It should be fun! We're going early to do a little sightseeing on Friday, then on Sunday we're going back to Nashville with my good friend and her husband. I'm really looking forward to it!

Before I forget, a big CONGRATS to Stacy and her DH on their IVF conception! It's so nice to see positive results around here. I can't wait to see who's next!

Well, that's about it from me. I'll update again when I have some news, one way or another, on how my 2WW ends!

Take care,
Laura
