C#9, CD30, 8-10 dpo

Hi,

Okay, a HUGE congratulations to Corinne upon her wonderful ++ news! That's just fabulous. You see, I just knew this trend would keep going. Also, I am wishing nothing but the best for Tricia and Aimee, two of our IVF Triplets, who will be undergoing embryo transfers this week. I'm hoping for great news for both of them!

I am just waiting around to see what is up with this cycle. I got my progesterone level back yesterday. It was improved at 5.5, but still not 10 or higher, which I guess is what it should be about 7 dpo. However, since I got the blood drawn on CD23, and I think I O'd somewhere on CD19-21, I went back and had it retested yesterday to see if the level would come back any higher after a week. We'll see what happens. I'm not feeling so nauseated, but my BBs do hurt now and then, and DH has officially dubbed me, "Booby Queen" (funny considering I'm not really well-endowed)! Another strange thing is that my temp took a big jump today. Post-O it is usually 98.0-98.2, but today it jumped up to 98.5. I thought that was strange, but again, I am trying very hard not to get excited, just to be let down later. I did buy some HPTs the other day, so I will use one if AF doesn't show by Friday.

I have been watching a lot of HGTV and "Trading Spaces," and I've gotten the energy to finish our last big redecorating project. It's not even terribly big, but it's a bear. We are repainting the room that will someday be a nursery. However, since the room had navy blue wainscoating and navy blue & white spongepainting, you can imagine the layers of primer it has taken to even get to the painting part! I am painting the wainscoating white, and the top a periwinkle blue. We even ordered new carpeting for that room and our stairs, thanks to our IRS tax refund. We picked out a berber with really pretty flecks of color that will go well with the room - we get it in less than two weeks and I'm very excited! I'm also ready to get the ruby red shag carpeting off our stairs - it doesn't go real well with our sage bedroom walls! The rest of our house is hardwood floors, so we are now set in flooring department.

Thanks to those of you who posted empathizing with my feelings about my sister's pg. I am truly happy for them, and my own attitude is catching up to where it should be. It made me feel better knowing so many others had been in the same situation. I am looking forward to having a child close in age to this new little one so these cousins can be close growing up.

Well, that is about all from here. I hope eveyrone is having a great week! Lots of positive thoughts to all of you.

Love,
Laura
