C#8, CD#4
Hello,
Well, as you can see, AF did show, on June 1. This cycle will be easy to count days, at least. I start 100 mg of Clomid tomorrow, and am really hoping this will do the trick and at least get me to O at a reasonable time. We'll see what happens.
Our appointment with the dog specialist was today and I have to say that I am disappointed. He really didn't seem to know much, and we had to pay TONS of money (about three times more than we'd thought)! He did another skin biopsy, blood tests, etc. I just thought that for all that money he charges he should be able to say, "Okay, we're going to do such and such and she'll be good as new!" Okay, wishful thinking, I know. It just is really bad timing to be spending so much. We go down to just my paycheck this summer, as I get paid year-round and DH doesn't, and then there's school tuition for me - just not the best time to be dropping major dough on the dog! Don't get me wrong, it is worth it for her to feel better, but so far we've already spent so much and she hasn't gotten much better at all. All I have to say is this doctor had better be a miracle worker for what he is charging! Does anybody remember watching "The Six Million Dollar Man" on T.V.? I keep hearing that quote, "We can rebuild him..." in my head! Our third anniversary is coming up on the 20th, and I had to put aside my plans for us going to a day spa for relaxation. Guess we'll be settling for dinner out. *sigh*
School is almost over (YAY!), and I am a busy girl. Note to self: Do NOT collect research papers 10 days before school is out (what kind of fool was I?!)! I have 130 papers (complete with citations, bibliography, etc) to read and grade between now and June 14th! ARGH! After that, though, SWEET SUMMER VACATION!!! We already have 3 camping trips planned this summer (lifestyles of the pet-poor and infamous), so I am pretty excited.
So, I may not be frequenting the boards for a while. However, while I sit buried in papers and cursing 8th grade grammar skills (hee hee), know that I will be thinking positive thoughts for all of you!
Take care,
Laura :)
