C#6, CD#26, 2 DPO?

Hello All,

Well, I am back and refreshed from a wonderful vacation! We had a lovely time in Savannah. It is just a beautiful town with so much history and character. The weather was a little cooler than I would have liked, but since it was much colder in Michigan (even snowed, so I hear) I will not complain! We had a nice time visiting our friends on the way, as well. My friend's new little boy is just a precious little thing. Very sweet. And we had a fun time with her toddler, who kept us quite entertained during our visit. Overall, I'd say that this was one of the best vacations DH and I have had together. Apparently all that relaxation was good, because I O'd early again this month! I haven't been temping, so I'm not sure which day I actually O'd, but I got the surge on the OPK stick on Wednesday. As it happened, we were able to DTD a lot, seeing as we were on vacation, so who knows? As wonderful as our vacation was, we were still happy to get home. We missed our Ocho terribly! I never had a dog growing up, and I must admit that I never understood that connection people feel for their pets. Well, I do now. We were so excited to see her, and she was very excited to see us! We were fortunate enough to have a friend who house-sat for us, so it was nice knowing that our dog was taken care of.

On the TTC front, Chris's ultrasound came back normal, showing no vericoceles. The joke with us was that he does indeed have "twins" (ha ha - crass, I know!). Anyway, he started his Clomid yesterday. Guys take it every day, since they don't have cycles like women do. He'll repeat his SA after three months on Clomid. I will start taking Clomid in a few weeks, if I am not pg this cycle. Of all the people I imagined myself being Clomid buddies with, my hubby was not one of them! Let's hope the hormonal mood swings are not a side effect for both of us, or we're in trouble (lol)! DH really is being a trooper about all of this, and I am very grateful that he's been so easy with everything.

Not much else going on here. I am going to D.C. with my students later this week - wish me luck! If I manage to come back without those little darlings undoing my week of relaxation, I will be a happy woman. I really am looking forward to it, though. These have been my students for 7th and 8th grade, so I have a connection with these kids that I haven't had with other classes. I'll actually miss the little buggars when they move on to high school.

A big CONGRATS to Tracy! Glad to see this positive trend is continuing - keep it up, ladies!

Warm wishes and positive thoughts to you all,
A very relaxed Laura :)
