Jennifer I.'s Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

January 1, 2001

Happy new year everyone!!!

Since it is a new year, I am considering it a new beginning for my husband and me. We are wiping the slate clean of our failure to conceive in 2000 and the miscarriage we suffered in September. We are putting all of those misfortunes behind and are ready to start in 2001 with a new outlook. We are no longer going to let trying to conceive a baby rule our lives. I, especially, am not going to spend most of my waking hours thinking about having a baby. We are just going to throw caution to the wind and have fun trying. I am not going to waste my money on ovulation predictor kits anymore. When it happens, it will happen because God planned it to happen at that time.

This, my fellow trying-to-conceivers, is my New Year’s resolution. I just cannot take the depression every month when I get my period, or the pressure I put on my wonderful and supportive husband when I am supposed to be ovulating. The way I figure it, this month, I should ovulate sometime around Jan. 6, which for once falls on a weekend. We are just going to have fun!!! Well, I am sure I have rambled on enough, so until next time, good luck to you all!!!
