Introduction

Happy holidays everyone!!

It's amazing how quickly a year will pass. Last January (2000), I stopped taking the BCP and knew it would take some time for it to be out of my system. NEVER did I imagine it would be this long. Now I am on Clomid (second cycle) and am wondering if this will ever happen for DH and me. I know many of us (precon writers and readers) have similar stories. I have had at least three friends (who come right to my mind) who have been pregnant and are now mothers in this year. I hesitate to tell all members of our family/friends that DH and I are experiencing problems. The main reason is that I don't want people to feel sorry for us. Does any else feel like this??

On the TTC front -- I am on CD24. I have had a few "pregnancy-like" symptoms, such as fatigue (very tired in the late afternoon/evening), headaches, up at night to use the bathroom, and minor cramps. Unfortunately I know myself too well and realize that these are also PMS symptoms for me. I am hopeful though and will hold out testing until the 23/24 if no AF. Last month (my first on Clomid), AF showed right on time (actually a day early), so I am expecting that it will do the same this month.

I am all ready for the holidays coming up and am looking forward to a joyous and peaceful (and hopefully the BEST gift -- a ++++ HPT) holiday season. Good luck to all of you waiting to test and waiting to BD.

I wish everyone the happiest of holidays and the best of new years.

Love and kisses,
Jen F.
