Jennifer F's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |
October 3, 2001
Hi all,
I have been so busy reading and keeping up with all of the other diaries, I forgot to write a new entry myself. LOL.
I have been so good about walking, walking, walking on my treadmill. Almost every night for the lst 2 weeks. I try ot walk off 500 calories/night. It takes about 60-65 minutes. I like to watch movies while I am walking. So far, I have re-watched "As Good as It Gets," "Die Hard" (part 3), "Titanic," "Shining Through"-- I can't remember any more and I doubt anyone cares--LOL. I like to watch movies over and over--anyone have a favorite they would like to recommend?
I had my follow-up appointment with my GYN last week, from the m/c. I asked her about all of the bloodwork I've had done and everything has been normal. She did say that the HSG showed my right tube is a bit enlarged. She said it could be due to a past infection or nothing at all. Just something I have. She doesn't seem to think it will affect us TTC too much. Anyone heard of this before? Then she offered me a couple of ideas for TTC-- that we could try "on our own" for a couple of months or she could prescribe clomid (100 mg) again and go from there. We chose the second option. So for this month we are relying on the fertility monitor and GOOD LUCK. I am having the Peak readings today and yesterday (CD 17 & 18). So I guess as of tomorrow, that puts me in the dreaded 2WW. Then if I am not pregnant, I will start the clomid again.
The one difference now from when I took the clomid in the spring is that they don't require/recommend a CD12 u/s. She said that if I am using a fertility monitor that will pinpoint my ovulation more accurately than the u/s. Hmmmmm... interesting. So we'll see what happens.
I'd like to add that Jenn (and her DH, Cory) are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope that knowing we all care and are thinking about you-- somehow eases the pain you are feeling. Take care of yourselves.
Congrats to Nino and everyone who recently announced their pregnancy or made their parenting plans more definite. And Welcome to all of the NEW babies born this week from the pregnancy diaries. YEAH.
Here's to a positive and productive week for all of us (in one way or another).
Peace--
Jennifer
