Well today is Cycle Day 24. I got my Beta HCG results yesterday and it was 17.1. Well, that is sort of ambigous to everyone it seems. I had an injection of Pregnyl on cycle day 13, was inseminated on cycle day 14 and if you are pregnant, it is assumed that you will have a BHCG of 5 - 50. 5 - 50!!!!!! What a range! I've asked my Doc and looked on lots of websites, asked my nurse, asked my Aunt that's a nurse......"Wait until about Cycle Day 35 and then take a test" is the answer and I don't like it!!!1 The waiting is so hard. I snuck a PG test this morning without telling anyone, heck, I haven't even told my Mom that I've been inseminated again. She was more devastated with the mc in July that I just couldn't put her through anymore just yet. But yes, I am willing to put myself through this again and again. It's exciting if nothing else and definately builds character. I am becoming more mature, more forgiving and more interested in what my personal beliefs are. So there, I'm being educated and who doesn't love to learn!!???
By the way. The test was negative, but I'll have to wait another week to really find out. I know you can get a false negative but not a false positive (usually, again, ambiguity). So I'll be back on Cycle Day 35.
Ya'll take care!!!! :)
