Diana's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |

Hello all!!
First of all, I have to apologize for giving incorrect information last time. If you had looked at a calendar, you would have realized that there was no way I could have been on cycle day 58. What I meant to say was day 48.
Now I am on day 56 and still no sign of AF. I am so frustrated with this that I think I may call my doctor if I don't get my period in the next week or so. I don't know what they can do, but it will make me feel better to see my doctor or at least know what he thinks. I keep wishing that the reason I don't have my period is because I'm pregnant already, but I'm 99 percent sure that's not the case. I'm not even going to allow myself to take a pregnancy test unless the doctor recommends it. I try talking to people at work about what's going on with my body, and most of them jump to the conclusion that I am pregnant.. which makes it even harder for me to convince myself that I'm not.
As far as DH goes.. I think I've done a darn good job of convincing him not to wait until my next AF. At this point we're not "trying" to get pregnant, but we've removed all obstacles.. if you know what I mean. *wink* While this is exciting for me because it means we are starting earlier than he wanted to, it's also kind of nerve-wracking. What if I ovulate now or already did (since I stopped taking my temps)? I would still be impatiently waiting for AF to show up and she might never come! I know, I know.. keep dreaming.
In other news.. My classes are going well. I think I can get at least a B+ (I'm aiming for an A) in my Math class. Literature will be.. well, I'll have to wait and see how my teacher grades and what he expects before I can conjecture on my success. Being in school has really cut into my time though. When I'm not working or in class, I'm doing homework, and then I still have to squeeze in housework (the dishes keep piling up, the laundry pile never ends, and dinner always has to be made). I wish we could afford to hire a maid! Imagine what would happen if I went to college full-time!!
I've finally decided to crack down on my step kids about doing their own laundry. They are 13 and 15 years old.. more than old enough to do it themselves. Well, I've told them over and over again (starting when I first moved in a year and a half ago) that I will not do their laundry. Finally I just took the hamper out of the bathroom so they have no place to leave their clothes for me to wash. (I bought them each a hamper of their own for Christmas.) They grumbled about it, but I think this will work. I don't know if any of you are farmers, but my husband raises beef cows, and he produces more dirty laundry in a day then I do in a week!! Between his clothes and mine and towels, there are enough dirty clothes to keep me busy. Well, anyway, I hope this arrangement will give me more time to catch up on some other housework. The kids probably think I'm the meanest step mom ever!! But this has to be done.
Well I guess that's all the news I have to share with you for now. Until next time, take care!
Diana Elena
