What a week. I was hoping this month would be free of antibiotics and decongestants, but that didn't happen. Of course, I came down with a sinus infection (thanks to my wonderful allergies) that I still don't have under control. I'm getting allergy shots, but the doctor says it takes time for them to work. I seem to have a sinus infection about every 1.5 to 2 months.....it really stinks. ;-(

So, now I am hoping that I will be off antibiotics before ovulation occurs. I'm on cycle day 13 today and I have three more days of antibiotics to take. ;-( I guess I am hoping I ovulate late again so the drugs are out of my system, although the doctor gave me baby friendly drugs....just in case! I have been struggling for the last 6 years with sinus problems. I've gone through three surgeries and all seem to help for a few months, then I'm back to the reoccurring nightmare. I keep asking for a new head, but no one is willing to oblige. %-}

I started with the OPK's today. I knew it would be negative today, but since this is my second cycle off BCP I don't want to take the chance of missing ovulation. I take my BBT's also....but they seem really screwy so far this month. But I am proud of myself, I have only forgotten to take it once! ;-) yahoo.

I went shopping last night for sheets and on my way to the bedding section I crossed all the baby stuff. I really had to put the blinders on so I wouldn't spot anything and BUY, BUY, BUY! I came home and told Karl about some of the crib sets and he just listened like a good hubby. ;-) I don't want to buy anything before I am pg.....it may bring bad luck! ;-)

Does anyone know if it is bad to sit in a hot tub while you are ttc? I know you shouldn't while you are pg. Just wondering. We have been going to a lot of pool parties and I'm drawn to hot tubs!

We are going tonight to look at a few houses. We have a house now, but it only accommodates us and our pets. I am very excited since it has taken me a while to get dh to want to look. ;-) Have I mentioned our house of animals? We have two pug dogs, both males, named Boris and Dudley. My dh loves the Rocky and Bullwinkle show. And two house cats, both females, named Mikayla and Isabel. I guess you could say we are a blended family -- his dogs and my cats. I wonder how our animals will act if we are ever blessed with a baby?
