It’s a beautiful day!
The sun is out and it’s supposed to hit 85 degrees today—not bad considering it snowed only a few days ago! Our grass is green and the trees are budding. I love springtime! I will miss using my pick axe this year though—any suggestions for other summertime activities?

Parents
My parents are heading back to FL today. It’s so hard to say good-bye to them. I got approval from my OB and the IVF nurse to fly so we will visit them in June or July. That’s not too far away. Right?

Weekly Sanity Check
The nurse refused to ask how I’m doing today. She’s got me pegged. ;) She spent a great deal of time with us and Em is doing great! He/she actually looks like a human now. He has long arms and legs and at first was sleeping (without the heart beat I would have thought the worst). Eventually the u/s noise woke him up and he started jamming. It was really cute. Not only has he grown a great deal since last week, but his rhythm has improved a lot too! ;) I asked when I can stop my progesterone support and I was told that I could have stopped at 10 weeks. Of course, stopping scares me (gee, me freak about something?) so the nurse told me I can do my shots or suppositories every other day for another week. Not because I need it, but just to calm me. I didn’t even have any blood drawn today! Chris has decreed that I will continue my suppositories because he’s sick of looking at my disfigured butt. MEN. I hope the PIO lumps and bruises go away quickly. I do have a Quasimodo thing going on. ;)

Shopping
Well, I decided that if everything was ok today then I would start maternity clothes shopping (desperation is setting in…I can’t even zip most of my pants anymore!). Wish me luck!
