Cats Updated
I heard from the vet yesterday. He was hardly full of sage advice, but did recommend that we bathe the cats to remove any odors that might be setting them off (note: my cats do not smell bad!!!). So tomorrow we're carting them off to the vet's for a day at the spa (read: getting the crap scared out of them). I feel awful, but there is no way in hell that we can give them baths. I can't wait to see what this treat sets us back. Ugh. It had better work because I am at my wits end (and I'd like to sleep in the same bed as my husband again! We've been sleeping in separate rooms since Saturday--he sleeps with Tess in our room since she handles being locked up better. I've been sleeping in one of the spare bedrooms with Fin. He certainly doesn't mind. CATS.).

Bring it on!
I triggerred last night at 11:15. This sucked since I'm usually fast asleep by then (I am not a night person). I had a bit of an issue mixing the HCG--it didn't seem to want to dissolve and then I couldn't get all of it out of the vial. Chris was getting pissed at me and finally grabbed the needle, swabbed my @ss with the alchol wipe, and did the injection in under 2 seconds. Well, hey, it was mean but it didn't hurt. ;)

My E2 level was 3914 (or 3941--I'm a bit dyslexic with numbers) yesterday, which is great! I went in this morning to have my HCG level tested (they want to make sure there's enough in your system to cause an ovulation-like surge so that the eggs can be retrieved). I didn't see Dr. H, but the very nice nurse who did my ER and ET last time was there and told me that she'll be my nurse tomorrow. I'm pleased--I told her she's my good luck charm (note: sucking up to nurses is as effective as baked goods for REs!).

My ER is tomorrow morning at 10:15--Dr. H had better be there like he promised! :)

Thanks to everyone who has posted on my talk to me board--I really appreciate the support!
