I'm back!

Well, I had a terrific time in South Carolina -- despite the freezing cold weather. It was warmer in Calgary! My girlfriend, Jill, and I shopped like crazy women. I brought a second empty suitcase, and I filled it to the point of exploding! Amazingly enough -- I still have more Christmas shopping to get done. I basically have DH's stocking and a gift for my dad to get still -- and then I have to wrap everything. We're going to Ottawa for the holidays, so we'll have to bring a moving box of gifts with us. I love wrapping gifts -- I picture the look on people's faces when they get them! There's nothing like finding that perfect gift -- and I know I've hit the nail on the head with many of my purchases.

I'm almost done all of my homemade gifts. I made three cross-stitch ornaments for my SILs -- and they're wrapped and sent. I made a little runner quilt for my grandmother -- that goes in the mail today. I have one ornament to put together for my boss, and I have to quilt a little reindeer hanger for my other SIL. I figure I should have it all done by Christmas 2001. LOL

This week is Christmas party week. Both DH and I have our office parties, and we're having a little dinner party on Saturday night. I still haven't figured out a menu! Our house is very festive looking -- and as long as the puppies stay out of the decorations, it should look great by Saturday. Then one more week of work and BAM, we're off to the folks for a holiday.

I had some great news at work. A few weeks I submitted a proposal to start up a PR department here at the agency -- and they accepted it! So I'm really looking forward to developing this department within our existing structure. The glitch (as there always is) is that I have to do both that job and my current job until they hire my replacement. So I am doing everything to help find my replacement -- and soon. But things are going to be bad until Christmas at the least. So you probably won't see much of me on the boards.

I should hear back at the end of the week about my tests. I am not stressing about it too much. I just hope they come up with a reason for all my "issues" with TTCing -- and just my cycle for that matter!
