Jennifer B's Diary Entries

November 14, 2000

Hello all!

I'm enjoying a nice, bright, sunny week here in Alberta. It's colder than anything, but I'll tell you, there's nothing like sunshine to keep your spirits high. I'm an outdoorsy-type person to some extent. I love fresh air, and things like camping, hiking, canoeing and skiing. On the other hand, I'm a bona fide wimp and I hate it when it gets really cold. So then I hunker down in my house, with all the curtains open showing the sunshine, and pretend that it's a nice warm day outside.

I am a tea fiend. I know that most people need a coffee fix, but I have always needed a tea fix. But, as with everything with TTC, I had to make some alterations. So I'm now down to two cups a day. I used to be at six. I don't like herbal tea, and I'm starting to get used to decaf tea. But I still savor those twice daily mugs!

Tomorrow we should get the results of DH's SA. So I guess that by the time you read this, we'll know. I'll post on my board once I know what's what. I hope for the best -- expect the best, and prepare myself for the worst. That's just the way I approach life.

We are in the midst of our BD-fest right now -- I should O in a couple of days. I just started using an OPK this month, so I'm interested to see how that works. Right now I still have a - showing, but Oing is still two days away.

I then go for my doctor appointment on the 23rd. I'm not too sure what they'll be doing at that appointment. Who knows -- I may be PG already. Wishful thinking is the name of the game!

I am really getting psyched for my trip to South Carolina in two weeks. My friend tells me we're going to Myrtle Beach for the weekend. We plan on shopping until we drop. I've been putting aside my pennies to find all of my favorite stores in the US. Of course, with the state of the Canadian dollar, I have to put aside a lot of those pennies!!

Well, that's all from here.

Best wishes to everyone,
Jenn
