Hello everyone!
Boy, has it ever gotten cold -- all of a sudden! I had to pull out the winter coat and the mitts, and gulp, tomorrow I may need some boots! I mean it is November and I should expect that snow would be forthcoming, but I guess I'm still in autumn mode! Oh well -- I guess I'm now ready for "walking in a winter wonderland!"
The good part about snow is that I know Christmas is on the way. I am a Christmas addict! I love the whole month of December. I am very picky about the perfect Christmas tree -- it has to be very full and aromatic. Our first joint purchase as a couple a few years ago was to buy a beautiful hand-painted angel for the top. I've made virtually all the decorations, with the exception of a few shiny glass balls.
And then there's the baking. We bought a deep freeze this year -- basically to accommodate all of my Christmas baking. I make dozens of different types of cookies. All the new Christmas cooking magazines are all out now -- and being the magazine junkie I am, I had to pick them up:)
The Christmas parties start this week. We have a Black and White Ball to go to on Friday. We're going to make it a birthday party for DH. I bought a gorgeous formal dress -- I'll have to get a photo at some point.
Let's see -- on the TTC front -- nothing much to report. DH is having his SA today and then I go back to the doctor on the 23rd. Right now I'm nine days away from Oing. This is a pretty relaxing time in my cycle. Now's when I'll have the occasional glass of wine, and not fret about everything I'm putting in my body.
Well, that's all for now. Best wishes to everyone out there in TTC land!
Jenn
