Jennifer B's Diary Entries

Dum, de dum, de dum. That's how I feel about this time of the month. It seems those last 14 days just tick on by!! Of course, being the silly gal I am, I analyze all of my phantom symptoms -- all the time!! Oh well, nothing new to report here -- just waiting. Test day/AF day is the 26th -- another entry away!

This week we did get a new addition to our family. We adopted a 7-month-old cockapoo puppy named Tegan. We have a 1-year-old cockapoo named Ty, and we wanted another dog, but a housetrained one!! Didn't want to have to go through puppyhood all over again! She's really adorable and they've taken to each other very well. They play all day and they're even sharing Ty's bed now. With both of us working all day, Ty needed a friend and this has worked out great!

I have been so busy at work it's ridiculous. I'm the kind of busy you get when you can't possibly keep on top of all of the projects on the go. And the worst part is that some of the clients think it's perfectly fine for us to work till we croak on their stuff. Sort of a we-pay-you, we-own-you attitude. I've been working really long hours and I don't have a feeling that I'm getting ahead of anything. Oh well -- only two days until the weekend!

I just finalized my trip to South Carolina for November. Can't wait to go! My best friend, Jill, and I usually shop until we drop. It's hard on the Visa but it's oh so much fun!

I finish my quilting class tonight. I love the way the Santa Pillow looks so far! By the way -- my sewing machine died during this whole process and I need to get a new one. I know nothing about sewing machines as I only use them for crafts. Any recommendations on machines?? Please post if you have any thoughts -- I'm getting one for Christmas!!

Best wishes to all!
Jenn
