TTC#1, C#4, CD#22, 3DPO

Well, I finally ovulated Monday morning. As you know, this is my first month temping and it's not hard to tell why we aren't PG yet!! It never occurred to me that I wouldn't O until the 20th day of my cycle! And to be honest, it didn't even occur to me this month so we're probably not PG. What do I mean by that? Well, the BDfest only went to CD#18 (I thought I was having an anovulatory cycle) so unless DH has got some high-quality swimmers, we may have missed the boat this month.

But that's OK with me. I am TTC, obviously, but it's still so new for us that I'm just happy to be armed with this new information. I plan on using the FAM method even after we have our children. The pill doesn't agree with me and I don't really like other methods of birth control. So thank you TCOYF!

As it is -- I'm not sure when to expect AF. Last month my cycle was 32 days, the month before that it was 33, and before that, 37. But if it's any shorter than 34 days this month, I guess it's considered a short luteal phase?? Is that right?

One of the reasons I'm OK about the missed timing is that one of my cousins, Emily, announced she's getting married next year and wants me in the bridal party. Now, as long as I'm OK to fly, she doesn't care if I'm PG. But she's getting married at the end of April on the other side of the country (I live in Alberta, she lives in Newfoundland). So if I'm PG before the end of the year, I'll have to wait for the video! She was in my wedding party and as neither of us has sisters, it's nice to have family along for the ride!

Not much else going on. Tonight I'm having a scrapbooking party at my place. My maid of honor, whom I've known since I was 7, made me a scrapbook of our friendship for my wedding and I love it. Now I want to make a wedding-themed one! This weekend I'm taking a quilting course -- I'm going to be all crafted out! We have a work function at the zoo on Saturday night -- that should be fun as well!

Happy trails!
Jenn
