Hey everyone!
I have been going through a quilting phase lately. I am quickly becoming a quilt-a-holic. This latest phase all started when I decided to get caught up on a quilt I am doing for a class I am taking. I took a day off of work and quilted all day. And it was so much fun! I went to the class last night -- and then continued to quilt when I got home. And I can't wait to get home to quilt again tonight! I feel like someone out of Little House on the Prairie!
But I have learned an interesting(and no doubt completely unrelated LOL), correlation to the times when I quilt. Simply put -- it starts to rain.
Alberta has been suffering through a year long drought. However every time I turn on the sewing machine, a sun shower, a thunderstorm, a squall -- whatever -- it starts to rain! So I think I could charge a service. If farmers are worried about their crops -- I'll go down to their farm and start to quilt. Or hey, if your lawn is looking dry, give me a shout -- I'll help with a natural sprinkler!!
OK -- I'm just being a goof -- but why not! Goofiness is fun! But hey -- if there are any quilters out there -- I'd love to chat!
In terms of TTC -- I am 10 DPO today -- so I still have a few days until AF arrives. I don't feel pregnant at all -- which is per the norm. But I now have two months down in my six month wait to get into the fertility clinic!
I was very pleased to see the new diaries on the pregnancy today site. I would love to see some new stories on this site as well.
As for the weight loss portion of this journal -- it is going VERY slowly. I've lost a whopping 2 pounds in 2.5 weeks. My body is definitely in self-preservation mode. It always does this. But I am going to the gym and I know for me that is the most important thing!
Hope everyone has a productive week!
Jenn
