Hey everyone! Well -- we have now passed that one year anniversary. What with my long cycles -- we fit in 11 cycles in that year. Onto next steps. I am trying herbal supplements while I wait to get into the fertility clinic. All's well there -- except I HATE the False Unicorn Root tincture. It really is foul! And I have to take it three times a day!! I've called everywhere and they all say they can only the the tincture in Canada. Blech!
The only question I have is: during what times in a cycle do you take each of these herbs?? I called an herbalist and she told me one thing. The Web gives all sorts of answers. So I'm going with what the herbalist says. Women's supplement, EPO and Dong Quai up until O, FUR the whole time.
I am off after today as I am heading to a conference in Halifax. It should be pretty fun. It's a very light schedule and as I grew up in Halifax -- I know lots of people and lots of things to do. I hate the time change though -- it's a three hour difference. That's really enough to screw with your mind and your sleep!!
I'm going home tonight and planting our first three trees. I really hope they take. Our backyard is pretty barren right now. We bought a Choke Cherry, an Amur Maple and a Flowering Crabapple.
My girlfriend came into town last weekend and we shopped like fools! I don't remember ever buying so much. I do not want the ol' Mastercard bill this month. But it was so much fun. We also pigged out, treted ourselves to pedicures and enjoyed some fine wine. It made AF's arrival practically disappear.
We also saw A Knight's Tale. It really is silly -- they set it to classic rock tunes and they actually do the wave! But I still enjoyed it. I'm a classic rock kind of chick.
Anyway -- I hope everyone has a productive week. And for my American friends, enjoy the long weekend. We'll talk to you all next week!
Jenn
